The DBVision System supports the rapid prototyping and development ofdefect inspection, document recognition, robotic vision, medical andclinical diagnosis, microscopy analysis, photo interpretation, automatedtarget recognition, and other automatic vision processes. It combinesimage processing, a relational DBMS and knowledge-based interpretationand control techniques such as fuzzy-logic to allow the rapid developmentof robust and adaptive code. A Visual Program Editor (data flowinterface) provides interactive visualization and editing for the rapidconstruction, viewing and modification of process sequences. The systemis open and user-extendable. Application modules can be produced forincorporation in delivery systems. AAI provides and supports a full rangeof OEM libraries including 2 & 3-D visualization, processing ,segmentation, feature extraction, and knowledge-based interpretation.
